Equity
There are three types of scholarships awarded annually on the basis of financial hardship.
The Curtin Family Scholarships and the William Barnes Scholarships are for attending students whereas the Edmund Rice Scholarships are for enrolling and attending students. Both types are available via application and determined by the College Scholarship Committee.

Curtin Family Scholarships
These scholarships have been donated by the Curtin family and are awarded to worthy students from all Years currently attending the College, who are from families facing financial difficulty. There are up to 3 scholarships awarded each year via application and determined by the College Scholarship Committee.

William Barnes Scholarships
These scholarships are offered following a generous bequest from Mr William Charles Barnes, an Old Boy of the College. The William Barnes Scholarships are offered to eligible students who may not be able to attend or remain at the College because of financial hardship. Applications are determined by the College Scholarship Committee.
The William Barnes Scholarships are means tested and cover full or partial remission of tuition fees and are reviewed annually based on continued positive contribution to the life of the College for ongoing eligibility.
Eligible students will show a commitment to learning and an ability to contribute to the life of the College.

Edmund Rice Scholarships
The College offers Edmund Rice Scholarships to eligible students who may not otherwise be able to attend the College because of financial hardship. They are primarily offered to students applying for entry into Years 5, 6 or 7 and are determined by the College Scholarship Committee. Applications will be considered for other Year groups at the Principal’s discretion.
The Edmund Rice Scholarships are means tested and cover full or partial remission of tuition fees and are reviewed annually based on continued positive contribution to the life of the College for ongoing eligibility.
